Honestly wonder how some others flew so nicely and seemed much better behaved in flight. Mine REALLY needs some throttle on landing. Almost every time landing without throttle, upon some crosswind with good low speed, she just banked uncontrollably to a stall/crash, whereas the twin 80mm just settled like a pussy cat. Suspect design/stabilizer issue

Hi this jet has a lot of problems that free wing needs to fix with a v2 soon. I love the looks of the jet. I have 22 turbine jets and 18 df jets but people with this f14 have had wing folding problems rod popping off gyro problems not to mention landing problems. Take a look at all the videos about this f14 the only video that is so wrong is the one by two brothers he should apologize for his response to good pilots about this f14 hope you have a good day.

@@garyrussell7076 the twin brother guy used Spektrum 10ch AS3X with abundant mixing/stabilization tweaks, his comment is essentially not relevant to what others' experience with stock setup. Flew four F-14s from twin 64mm 4s (now single 6s 64mm great flyer), 6s, 70mm 4s, and 80mm 6s, this unfortunately is a disappointment, not feeling in good control of her flight, especially wing swept back

Sorry it was recorded with phone mounted on my hat... no manual focus or zoom in/out... plus she was supposedly as stealthy to naked eye just as much as to radar lol. The control was not crispy responsible as my other birds

Mine flew okay with left turn. On aileron banking right she does not behave well. She should be able to fly slower as bomber but she was not

@@edwen303 im working on mine now and I will get it to go the way I want once I get it all set up. There are so many that say alot about this bird but I just got it and In doing all the settings very carefully and In doing a very detailed video on it so its going to take some time. I gave you a like and sub and bud so hope to hear back on my channel on some of my great birds. Thanks again.

At bright daylight, green light is more visible than scale orange light. Night time or overcast are the best moment to film afterburner light, regardless of the color

Will get the green burner if a twin 70mm SR-71 is available. Have the twin 64mm, a bit too small

you meant to mix opposite rudder with aileron?

@@edwen303 rudder goes the same direction of your turn . Makes the turn even instead of dragging it's rear end around

Once you pass the trim and travel/EXPO adjustment stage, she is sweet flyer. This is my second ship, after the first one crashed and traded away.... Enjoy!

Probably my old laptop decoded the video from my phone a bit off, coming out fixed blue for sky and fixed gray/brown for terrain, kind of like added color for WWI/WWII documentaries lol
